Curriculum

Our Curriculum

Wellspring Children’s Academy takes a Christian & traditional approach to education. We teach the Pinnacle® Curriculum starting at age 3. Pinnacle® is a research-based early childhood curriculum that encourages children to develop emerging skills in all developmental areas while discovering and experiencing God’s love. With lessons that engage children in developmentally appropriate activities, the interactive activities in the Pinnacle® curriculum help children develop a love for learning while they are growing, playing, and having fun. Long range goals within the curriculum are linked to key industry standards.

Additional Educational Programs Include:

Kind Child – “Kind Child” is a school culture that reflects the most current thoughts in early childhood education. By focusing on the following character traits, we are instilling kindness in our students.

  • Responsibility
  • Thankfulness
  • Sharing
  • Friendship
  • Being Respectful
  • Being Polite
  • Celebrating Differences
  • Caring for Others
  • Showing Empathy

Baby Signs® – A sign language program to help parents and caregivers understand what your baby wants or needs, as well as allows babies a communication outlet.

STEAM – STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, Mathematics) is a new educational approach that connects our academic activities with meaningful, real-life learning experiences. Students can be designers, digital artists, scientists and engineers while working on inventions and projects.

STEAM teaches problem-solving, embraces teamwork, and stimulates critical thinking through creativity and imagination. STEAM classrooms will help students succeed in the future world of technology and innovation.

Food For Thought – Wellspring provides nutritious menus for our child that feed their bodies for growth and performance. By encouraging children to try a variety of meals and snacks, Wellspring is helping pave the way for a lifetime of healthy food choices.

Our menus rotate on a 5-week cycle, offer fresh fruits and vegetables, and are low in sugar. We only serve water and hormone-free whole or 2% milk.

Fun With Fitness – Our exclusive health and fitness program created to challenge children with different physical activities every day.

Kindergarten Club – Our Kindergarten Readiness program allows Pre-Kindergarten children a brief look into Kindergarten through a series of learning activities and interactive practices to better prepare them for their transition into Kindergarten.
