Fiorella Nix, Director
Thank you for choosing to become a part of the Wellspring Family. I’m Fiorella Nix, and as Director, I’m committing to provide a safe and nurturing learning environment for every child.
I’ve been an early childhood educator for 16 years, and inherited my passion for children from my mother. I grew up in a Family Child Care Home that my mother still runs after 35 years. I studied Music Education at Baylor University and fell in love with children while working as an infant teacher overseas in an ARMY Child Development Center. Over the span of my career, I have played the role of teacher, trainer, parent and administrator. Recently, I was the Campus Director for a large private preschool and Summer Camp program in Cypress.
I have two beautiful preteens, Thomas & Madeleine and enjoy music, dancing and reading. My family is from Uruguay in South America so I’m also pretty good at speaking Spanish.
I am so thankful for the opportunity to work in a nurturing loving environment where children can learn and experience new challenges that will help build their confidence while they grow. I look forward to continued success and new discoveries with an amazing team of teachers and families at Wellspring Children’s Academy.
Alisha Gibson, Assistant Director
My name is Alisha Gibson and I’ve been at Wellspring Children’s Academy since September 2009. I have a Child Development Associate’s Degree and more than fifteen years of experience working in preschool and school age settings. I have worked in every area of Wellspring Children’s Academy and I love being able to help our school grow and improve in every way that I can. One of my favorite bible verses is Matthew 5:16 “Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your father which is in Heaven.” I live in the community with my husband and two wonderful children. My hobbies include collecting Art, reading novels and spending time with my family. I especially enjoy being able to spread my love and nurture young children
