My 2 girls have been at Wellspring for 3 years now. The oldest has moved on to Kindergarten but still goes on school break and loves it. My youngest has Downs Syndrome and all of the teachers and staff have given her lots of extra care and attention that she has needed. Her development really took off once we put her in here and she loves her classmates and teachers. It gives me peace of mind to know my girls are well taken care of in a loving, Christian environment. I have recommended this school to several friends and will continue to do so.
I absolutely recommend Wellspring Children’s Academy for their excellent curriculum and faith based foundations. Both of my children have grown here from infancy to PreK and it has made a world of a difference.
I saw that this wonderful place had not been reviewed in quite some time, so I feel the need to put my two cents in.
I have been taking my child here since she was only 3 months old, and we adore not only the director, but all of the teachers she has had since she has been there. Sure, things have not been perfect there, you can say that about any place. What I like about Wellspring is how they handle incidents when they do arise. I feel very comfortable voicing any concerns or questions I may have, and I feel that I am heard and respected. I also feel that when I do bring up a concern, it is resolved in the best possible manner. You cannot expect perfection, but you should expect to be part of every solution and decision in your child’s life, 100%. Wellspring feels like a second home to us.
To Whom It May Concern,
I am writing this letter to commend the faculty and staff at Wellspring Children’s Academy for a job well done. Although I have only been a part of the Wellspring family since December 2009, I am absolutely certain that I made the correct choice for my childcare needs.
The faculty and staff always greet you with a warm smile and kind spirit and are willing to help in any way possible. They exude the highest level of professionalism starting with the director, Mrs. Tamika, and carries over to both parent and child. This facility is truly a God send! I couldn’t ask for a more loving and caring environment to entrust my daughter to.
I especially enjoy the “extra activities” that are held to make Wellspring feel like more than just your average daycare. My daughter enjoys taking dance class after school and the other events like Pizza night, the Easter egg hunt, and parent’s night out to name a few. I’m sure that by attending Wellspring, and it’s Christian based foundation, she will be exposed to different aspects that will help her excel in the future. I even think she has made a few lifelong friends and extended family members!
Why WE LOVE Wellspring Children’s Academy
We absolutely LOVE Wellspring Children’s Academy. We made it Caleb’s new home at the start of the year (2010) and since then we’ve been simply “over the moon” with their one-on-one personalized care; as well as their one-on-one personalized teaching via the use of the A Beka Curriculum. Although every new, burgeoning children’s institution has it’s initial growing pangs (i.e. the children and teachers growing accustomed to and getting comfortable with each other; as well as the parents getting adjusted to each of the staff members and their “styles”); the staff and crew at Wellspring have handled it all with great stride and extreme professionalism. We LOVE the planned, daily hot meals and snacks. We LOVE the clean and organized classrooms. We absolutely LOVE the computerized check-in and check-out systems. My husband and I both LOVE the fact that we can pay tuition weekly and via credit card. The play yard and other outdoor activities are top notch. WE LOVE the fact that Wellspring (unlike many other competing learning institutions) not only have extended hours for those parents that work late; but that they sometimes actually remember the parents that work late; but that they sometimes actually remember the parents needing a “break” every now and again with their occasional Parents Night OUT! This school has definitely put itself above and beyond the rest with all of these great positives. We intend to keep Wellspring as our child’s learning institution for as long as we can!
My husband and I just wanted to say “Thank You!” to everyone at Wellspring.
I was very nervous about leaving Gavin for the first time and especially hesitant since he has ADHD with no medication. We thought for sure he would be too hard to handle and eventually be released for being so difficult. We couldn’t even do flashcards for 2 min. with him. So, we were shocked and amazed when Erika and Miss Tamika told us he was great the first week!
In the four short months Gavin has been with Wellspring, he has learned so much. We are thrilled and surprised everyday at the things he shows us he has learned. He’s writing his name and starting to read at 4 years old!
The teaching, TLC, structure and behavior modification goes above and beyond expectations. You are all amazing!
Dear Wellspring Staff,
Thank you so much for making Parker’s first day so amazing! All of the hugs, smiles and kind words really made his day. We feel so blessed to have found your school! God bless and thanks so much!
